My niece was married this past weekend. I made this quilt for her and her new husband. The overall design is traditionally called “Sunshine and Shadow.” The colors are teal, navy and pale aqua.

Each of the paler colored pathways was quilted with a different “feather” design.

The feather design in the center of the quilt represents their initials “S” and “S-reversed”.

The squiggly design in the dark triangles is actually a spiral.
