Several weeks ago Pioneer Woman posted about making iced coffee. I was intrigued enough to buy the brand of coffee she showed in her post and try to make some myself. My version is much simpler than hers. I flattened a coffee filter, sewed up two-thirds of one side, and placed 1/4 cup of coffee inside, then finished up the seam. I let that brew using tap water in a 28 oz. jar for about 12 hours. I filled a glass 2/3 full of crushed ice, then 2 envelopes of Splenda, then poured over half coffee brew and half 2% milk. Even though I am not a coffee drinker, I thought it was pretty good.
