    The dog tooth violet is what I found by the trail but couldn’t quiet identify with my Peterson guide. I decided it was some variety of bellwort. Did you know this one already or did you look it up?

    I knew about it from previous morel hunting expeditions. It is always in the same place along the trail there. I guess they come in other colors, too, according to Google search images.
