I attended a little workshop to make the Morning Glory Designs jacket, “Otter Creek Jacket.” I used six fabrics most of them from the “Evening Mist” fabric collection by Sentimental Studios for Moda.

All in all, I think it came out rather well:

All the edges, even around the lapel notch were bound like a quilt would be:

I searched high and low for buttons and finally settled on these metallic looking ones:
