Over the weekend, I drove 420 miles to Indianapolis to attend a trunkshow and workshop by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville fame. I stayed Thursday evening at my sister-in-law’s house near Indy and she graciously drove us from her house to the trunk show that evening. Friday morning, I loaded up my gear and drove to Indy again for the workshop. What follows are pictures from show-and-tell of quilts made by class members from Bonnie’s patterns. She has a book out and a blog as well.
“Carolina Crossroads” (Bonnie’s “Starstruck” in the background)
Great pieced backing for “Happy Scrappy Houses”
“Weed Whacker” by my new friend Carolynn
Darling little quilt made from triangles left over from the previous “Weed Whacker”
